Revenge of the Cooked Crustacean

Eating crab is quite an experience. You even have special cutlery for it, but it's probably more fun to just use your hands. I'm not saying it's easy. There are several problems:

Cracking the shell

Getting teeny pieces of shell in your mouth

Making a mess

Pincer attacks

But in the end, it's worth every bit of trouble, whether you're a pro...

...or an amateur

Vegetarians look away! Oh, I should have put the warning at the beginning. Too late, you've seen it all!

Hippocrites!

A friend of mine recently mis-spelled “hypocrite” as “hippocrite” and it made me think of a purple hypocritical hippopotamus. I have no reason for the choice of colour except that it just feels right. Here are some hippocrites:

Hungry hippocrite

Lazy hippocrite

Sad hippocrite

My colouring skills don’t seem to have developed over all these years. Need to start using paint again.

Also, don’t you hate it when people pronounce “hippopotamus” “hippo-pot-AM-us”? It gets on my nerves!
